Notice of Privacy Practices
The following provides the details of InfoHarvest’s approach to privacy and how your personal information is collected and used.
Throughout the following, the terms "client" refers to Clackamas County Water Engineering Services who contracted with InfoHarvest, Inc. ("InfoHarvest") to conduct an opinion survey on behalf of the Clackamas County Service District No.1 (CCSD#1) "Let’s Talk Sewage" Public Opinion Survey. The term "you" refers to the member of the public, or any other individuals who have elected to take this opinion survey. These practices apply to both InfoHarvest’s clients and the members of the public. It details InfoHarvest’s information gathering and usage practices.
1. InfoHarvest will not sell your personal information to anyone.
2. InfoHarvest will not disclose personal information to third parties, unless directed by our clients or under limited situations (see #3).
3. Exceptions apply in the following limited situations. In addition to any exceptions discussed elsewhere, InfoHarvest may disclose or report personal information in the following limited circumstances:
Outside of these exceptions and those discussed elsewhere in this document, InfoHarvest will not share your personal information with third parties unless you have specifically asked us to do so.
4. InfoHarvest will protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. Information security techniques are employed to protect confidential information from unauthorized access both inside and outside the InfoHarvest. Access to client information is limited to those employees who have a legitimate business need for the information. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and to ensure the correct use of information, InfoHarvest has put in place appropriate physical, electronic and procedural procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected online. All of InfoHarvest’s online systems are protected by firewalls, a software and hardware product designed to define, control and limit the access that "outside" computers have to our online reporting system. InfoHarvest’s web servers and other production infrastructure is located in a high-security facility managed by a reputable third party vendor.
